Got a message the other night asking if I wanted to put the Jeep Grand Wagoneer in the “Classic Car Display” at the North Carolina International Auto Expo this weekend at Dorton Arena.
Of course, I said yes!
Thankfully the weather here in North Carolina was amazing and I was able to get out and get the Jeep cleaned up for the show.
Here are a few of the photos I took along the way. (Note: I only took my second hand off the buffer to take the photo.)
I decided to use Blackfire Total Polish and Seal for the big show. While there are plenty of other processes I could have used like a three-step paint correction, I decided the paint was in good condition, but it just needed a simple one-step shine. For this, I think the Blackfire is one of the best products on the market. Simply use a high-speed orbital buffer with a polishing pad, then run it on the 5 setting until the polish disappears. Then you are done. Simple!
Not sure how many of you are in the North Carolina area, but stop by the show if you are around. It sounds like it will be a good time. This will be my first time there.
