GM Doubles The Used Car Warranty With These Conditions

Vehicles with the CarBravo certification now have bumper-to-bumper warranty coverage of 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. It’s important to note that California has different conditions.

At the same time, not all vehicles available are subject to these new warranties. Vehicles with higher mileage that don’t apply for CarBravo certification have more restricted benefits, such as the BravoBudget Powertrain Limited Warranty of 30 days/1,000 miles.

What does CarBravo consider an older car? Vehicles that are more than 10 years old but less than 15 years old. These cars must have between 100,000 and 150,000 miles. So, for example, an 11-year-old vehicle with 160,000 miles doesn’t apply, but a 14-year-old vehicle with 101,000 miles does.

Does The CarBravo Warranty Include Benefits?

GM has provided some benefits for users of the Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty that make it appealing to more buyers. Courtesy transportation and 24-hour roadside assistance throughout the entire duration of the warranty.

Buyers can also opt for warranty repairs in more than 4,000 dealerships nationwide. The Bumper-to-Bumper warranty has no deductible.

It’s also important to note that Cadillac doesn’t apply for this warranty as the luxury brand has its own certified used car program.
