LED Turn Signals Flashing Too Fast? Easy Fix
Today I ordered new LED replacement bulbs for all of the exterior lights (except the headlights).

As I was doing my research, I learned that when you replace a traditional incandescent light bulb with a LED bulb, your vehicle frequently thinks the bulb is burned out causing it to flash too fast. The reason for this is the fact LED bulbs draw a lot less power. Using less power is a good thing for energy consumption and efficiency, but not when your car thinks the bulb is burned out and goes into a rapid flash mode. Why are my LED turn signals flashing too fast?
LED bulbs draw less power than incandescent, causing the flasher relay to think a bulb is burnt out (hyperflash). Fix: install LED-compatible flasher relay ($10-$20) or add resistors to each LED bulb. The flasher relay swap is the cleaner solution.
