Video: How to Fix Your Window Flex Track on a Jeep Grand Wagoneer
Want to know how to fix your Jeep Grand Wagoneer window with a new flex track?
Here is a quick video that will talk you through the basics of what to do. I had never done this before, but I read a lot of online forums that described the process. The problem was that the written words did not accurately prepare me for what I was about to get into.
The first window I worked on took me three hours and I was trying to use step-by-step written instructions. Maybe I am stupid, or maybe I was afraid I was going to do major damage to the Jeep… either way it took a lot longer than it should have.
Hopefully this video will give you the confidence to do the repair yourself, because if I can do it, you can too.
Here’s what you will need:
- Silicone Lubricant Spray
- Electric Screwdriver
- Sil-Glyde Lubricant (for the track)
- Replacement Flex Track
- Needle Nose Pliers (or something else long to help grab and connect the track to the window)
- Nitrile Gloves (recommended but not required)
