2017 GMC Sierra 1500

The 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 is the most unreliable truck. It is easily the worst truck when considering its reliability. It has an extremely low dependability score which is an immediate cause for concern. It has a reliability rating of 2.5 out of 5 from U.S. Car News, which is less than desirable. Drivers cannot trust this truck to get them to their destination, as it is an overall unreliable vehicle. While the GMC Sierra 1500 can typically be relied upon, the 2017 model cannot be.

Along with a low-reliability rating, the 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 has many transmission issues, according to Car Complaints. Drivers complain about a sticky gear shift, as well as a jerky transmission. These issues are mere annoyances and are among the many reasons not to purchase the 2017 GMC Sierra 1500.

In addition to having transmission difficulties, the airbags of this vehicle are faulty. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) issued two recalls for the airbags. One of these recalls affected 40,000 vehicles and the other affected over 3,000,000. The vast amount of recalls regarding the airbags is alarming to owners, as this can be extremely dangerous in the event of a crash.

Common problems the vehicle may experience are clunking while driving and a faulty sensor.

The NHTSA issued three other recalls for the 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 as well.

Even if the 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 doesn’t experience any of these disastrous problems, it costs a lot to keep the vehicle in working condition.
