Transformation Thursday! Who’s that Lady in Colorado Red?
In today’s post, I am going to do something I have never done before…
I started this blog as a way to chronical the work I have done on my 1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer.
Post after post, task after task you have seen quite a lot of the work I have done. Sure, there’s always more to do, and several projects I still haven’t felt motivated to write about yet.
But, that’s for another day, because today, I am going to try something completely different.
I am going to post about someone else’s Jeep!
(and it’s and awesome Jeep)
When I bought my Jeep it had already been painted by a previous owner. Selfishly, I really wanted to be part of that process.
If you haven’t figured it out by now, I love researching the best ways to do things. It’s one of the primary reasons I am working on my Jeep and writing this blog — I love to learn.
(And yes, I do have a habit of making seemingly easy task much harder 🙄 )
Okay, so I wasn’t able to go through painting my own Jeep, so I decided after seeing a friends post on Facebook, why not share someone else’s experience.
Here it is, a Colorado Red 1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer owned by Justin Bagliazo. For those of you on the Jeep forums and Facebook user groups, you probably know Justin’s name well. He’s always willing to offer his help and his addiction, obsession, fixation passion for these old Jeeps is second to none.
The other day, Justin started posting photos of his ’91 Colorado Red Jeep Grand Wagoneer getting ready for paint. It gave me the idea, if I couldn’t paint my own Jeep, why not share the story of someone else’s Jeep going through the process.
It even made me a little glad I wasn’t part of the painting process because I have a feeling I would have been sanding for days knowing my OCD-like tendencies with my Jeep (Dave, you know what I am talking about!)
Without further ado, let’s see the pictures:

Pretty amazing transformation isn’t it!
Once Justin finishes the full transformation, hopefully, he will give us some final photos and I will update the post with the finished product. (I updated this post with the completed “AFTER” photos, so you are seeing the finished product.)
It is my hope that you enjoyed my attempt at trying something “new”.
Like I said earlier, I am figuring out this whole blogging thing as I go. It’s all about having fun, learning and of course talking about our Jeeps.
I have a few more new tricks up my sleeve about some special topics involving Jeeps that I may share in the coming weeks.
With that, I will sign off.
